Villa Blanca Hotel in Tuguegarao

Arriving at Tuguegarao after thirteen hours on the bus, we immediately checked in at Villa Blanca Hotel to freshen up to take our lunch and prepare for the afternoon tour. Unlike most hotels which are located in the city center, Villa Blanca is located a few meters from the main road of Tuguegarao. Good thing, there was a hotel shuttle from the bus terminal.

Woke up before 6 to grab an early breakfast and catch the earliest trip to Kalinga. We weren’t able to go with the first trip but settled to catch the second one since the first was almost full of passengers. Even with the delay, I was quite excited for the weather was good and Chico River’s white water rafting is known to be seasonal because it is too dangerous especially if there’s a typhoon.

Penablanca Callao Cave is one of the famous attractions is Tuguegarao. It is quite a very big cave with seven chambers and unique, too, for one of those chambers has a man-made chapel.

Tuguegarao | Beauty of Pinacanauan River

Shades of green at Pinacanauan River

Arriving at the Pinacanauan River, I can't help but be awed with its beauty. In fact, in some angles, it reminds me of El Nido, Palawan. :"> It has clear and clean waters, and the green highlight of the trees from the other side of the river is just so relaxing. While on the boat I have a hard time turning 360 degrees just to capture the beauty of the place.
