As an amateur enthusiast in photography, I try and try so many things that would make a picture look great and all. I have read and searched for tips online of the different techniques and methodologies most photographers use, some of them I've considered while others I've ignored. One of the basic tips given online is shooting RAW which I have constantly ignored mainly because the data storage for that format is way bigger than JPG. Now, after traveling for more than a year, it came to a point that I wanna try to shoot and compare the difference between the two, RAW and JPG. And it was a Saturday of October this year in Ortigas' Business District that my experimentation came true. After a little tweaking with clarity, saturation and vibrance at the same levels with the two formats, I came to realize how my stubbornness had cost the quality my pictures for the different destinations for the past few years. I realized how RAW format, especially in scapes, is very much useful which you can see for yourself.
