Quezon City | Seda Vertis North

Rainy season has long started and unwinding in the metro is what I am leaning for these days, after a seemingly long work-week. To relax and plan for future travel plans with friends is made possible last September in the city where my career started. A new staycation hub has soft-opened last April and I was glad to be able to finally visit the largest and newest addition to one of the Seda Hotels in the country – Seda Vertis North.

I have been meaning to unwind and de-stress over the busy hours I have at work these past few months, and was glad when I finally did last weekend at Luxent Hotel. It was a perfect relaxation and prelude to summer in one.

Another fun weekend with the gang happened in Quezon City last October to celebrate the coming home of some friends who have been travelling internationally in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan. We then excitedly tried a staycation at the newly opened hotel in Quezon City and the first industrially-designed comfort -- the B Hotel.

Lobby Café at B Hotel is one of the newest café/restaurant in Quezon City that offers that cool vibe which matches the hotel’s industrial architecture. It is where our lunch and the breakfast buffet was served, which is just perfect for food shots ‘cause the lightning is au natural.

Yakimix, Trinoma

Food! My first plate.

Who doesn't love buffet? Especially when that buffet is a treat! Thanks to our offshore and team leads, my team mates and I were able to go Yakimix for lunch thinking we could all wipe out the food there, especially the all time favorite in our group --- shrimp tempura. In the end, we all backed down and stopped gobbling everything we can see because we simply cannot take another anymore.

This newly installed braces of mine often makes me hungry at night for I can't seem to get full with these soft diet thing. Hence, I went to the store in Sagana and bought some food that does not need much chewing. It was drizzling when I went out and as I was walking, I noticed the scattered lightning against the dark night. I told myself that this might be the right time to try my very first lightning shot. But my stomach growled at the thought.
