Bangaan Rice Terraces

I have never seen the famous Batad or Banaue Rice Terraces and I am dreaming to finally have a glimpse on them or any rice terraces for the matter. My first chance was in Kalinga, en route to the start of the white water rafting adventure we stopped somewhere to take  a photo with the rice terraces there. But it was oh so far!

En route to Sagada, I was amazed of the beautiful scenery including these terraces. I wanna take loads of pictures but the zigzag road kept me from doing that especially when my motion sickness is at its peak.

When we started to trek to the Big Falls or Bomod-ok Falls, we passed by the Bangaan Rice Terraces. It was fascinating to see it up close and even walk on it just as we passed by the Mother Village in Southern Sagada. It was one of the best trek I've ever done that's why I decided to share this snapshot! :)

Keep posted for more about Sagada.

I've never been to Sagada. Hope I can visit it this year so I can see these terraces too. :)

I am going back too. But not so soon. I've missed some really nice places like the sunrise/sunset and hanging coffins :)
