Photograph | A Street in Baguio City

Jan 2012

My co-workers who were with me during my Baguio trip were already fed up by me mentioning about Blue Hour. (Haha) I couldn't blame them coz I was really that insistent. But I couldn't blame myself either. Because whenever I shoot at this beautiful hour of the day (especially to a new place), my soul seems to feel like re-ignited with inspiration and awe. :)

Dumaguete City: Freedom Park, Provincial Capitol and Absin's Residence

Freedom Park (in front of Provincial Capitol), Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental
It was the Christmas of 2011 when I passed by the colorful Freedom Park of Dumaguete right in front of the Provincial Capitol of Negros Oriental. It was late and I still need to get home to wrap some christmas gifts for the noche bueno surprise but I know that if I don't grab this chance I wouldn't be able to go back here and take some snapshots. Because when I am in my hometown, the laid back feeling to relax and just wander around without the pressure of taking snapshots of this familiar place is so irresistible.  But I told myself, no, not this time.

Strolling around Zamboanga's Pasonanca Park and La Jardin de Ma Clara Lobregat was fun. But our stomach grumbled a few hours later, so we decided to try the steak house right in front of Pasonanca Park.

Zamboanga's Fort Pilar and National Museum
Sakayan or boat, one of the many vessels in Zamboanga.

The Royal Fort of Our Virgin Lady of the Pillar of Zaragoza or or simply Fort Pilar is a 17th century military defense fortress built by the Spaniards. On this day, the place is one of the major landmarks in their city starting when it was declared as National Cultural Treasure on August 1, 1973. It is located just across the popular Paseo del Mar, a reclaimed esplanade,  which protects The Fort from the ravages of the sea.

Blue Hour at Clark, Pampanga

Adding another photo for my own humble series of "Blue Hour." This was taken before the 17th Hot Air Balloon Festival in the Philippines. I just can't resist the vastness of sky right in front of me and so I decided to take a shot, and I never regretted that I did. :)
