Enchanting
In my 20-something years that I have lived and stayed on one single province, I did not have the chance to explore my hometown and its neighboring towns until I got to work in Manila and started travelling.
I envy people posting about places from back home and asked myself how I got to NOT go there before. Well, I was planning to change that this year and so my quest to some of the famous tourist spots in Negros Oriental. After exploring Pulangbato Falls again in Malabo, Valencia, I decided to visit the Twin Lakes of Balinsasayao and Danao. It was one bumpy ride on those paved and unpaved roads with an itsy bitsy motorcycle problems like realizing that what we rented do not actually have brakes and the machine is beginning to smell bad after numerous inclinations, to some snake encounters and learning that I lost my len's CPL along the way. Huhu But all of it was worth it when I got a glimpse of this enchanting stop-over, approximately 12.3 kilometers from the highway, enroute to where the Twin Lakes of Balinsasayao and Danao is located. I dunno if it is just me or the serenity of the place just looks so mystical and mysterious. Totally took my breath away, that is for sure.

Agree. Na-amaze lang ako na ngayon ko lang sya napuntahan. Parang ang dami ko na miss sa whole life kong nagstay sa hometown ko. Haha
Great work! very eye-catching and beautiful pics of lakes.
Very still water! The reflection of the tree on the water and the lushness of the environment seems to give a relaxing moment to the viewers.
Npaka tranquil tlga ng mga lakes that is why I love lakes... it gives me this sense of peace inside. ;)

Isn't it always the case about your hometown? Always go to it last kasi anjan lang naman sya eh :P
Ganyan din ako dito. The Aguinaldo Shrine is 5 minutes away and is along the way kapag naghahatid ako sa school but I just never got to see it. also despite living in cavite my whole life.
Dba? Pero yung mga taga Cebu, na explore nila hometown nila. Kainggit. Hahaha :D Taken for granted yung super lapit.
"Taken for granted yung super lapit." You got it right ;)
