Baguio | Baguio Cathedral, Laperal White House and Melvin Jones Grand Stand

Klook.com

Before going to Burnham Park, we passed through the infamous Laperal White House in Baguio,  made a wish because it is my first time at the Baguio Cathedral, and tried to take a jump shot photo at the Melvin Jones Grand Stand but failed!

Laperal White House in Baguio

This old laperal white house in Baguio is rumored to be haunted according to our taxi driver. So I went down from the taxi and took a shot. Located at Leonard Wood Road, the place was built in 1920s and owned by the Laperal Family, one of the oldest clan in Baguio, 'til the family got brutally murdered during the height of World War II or Japanese occupation in the Philippines. What do you think? It looks normal here but creepy in real life. I swear.

Melvin Jones Grand Stand

We passed by this grand stand upon paving our way to Burnham Park and I saw loads of people practicing different sports in the grounds. This place also serves as a venue for concerts or fireworks display.

After all the strolling and passing by these places. I excitedly hurried to go to the street and Burnham Park to take some shots during twilight :)

I remember when I was younger, we used to stay at Pnky's back when it wasn't a B&B yet. During one of our alco sessions, my aunt climbed up the fence of the Laperal house on a dare, and the caretaker angrily told her that it's private property. Oops...

Hahaha What an experience. May nagbabantay pala dun?
