"Look how they shine for you" - Coldplay
It was when Mang Ramon was showing us how to make the rice wine under the old Ifugao hut, when I noticed the lovely stars up above. I began to remember that I did not bring my tripod. So out of desperation to capture the beautiful stars, I placed my camera on a nearby table upside down and took a photo of the night sky. Notice the hut, trees and portion of the roof of Mang Ramon's Inn included in the photo. But I am in no position to be choosy of my composition. So after a few tries, I settled for the one that kind of captured the night sky full of stars even with the weird composition. Haha I believe I wasn't able to give justice on how lovely it was but at least you have an idea on what lovely things you'd see in Batad aside from their amphitheater-shaped terraces. :)
Keep posted for more about my trip in Ifugao.

very nice. i remember doing one of the scariest night shots i had with my buddies where we could feel someone was with us and mingling with us while we take shots. we cannot see it but we felt its presence :)

Beautiful starry night sky... How I wish to witness it as well!
I hope you will on one of your trips :D
What a gorgeous starry sky. Night photography can be challenging but always rewarding... this is such a beautiful photo!
incredible... really incredible the number of stars one can actually see! nothing close to that in metro-manila. sad.
