Room for the weekend

In the southern-most part of the metro lies a quality comfort that I was glad to discover. We were again on our weekend staycation with my friends to find out what south has to offer. And we were not disappointed because it surprised us and made it to be one of the unforgettable weekends we ever had.

The new Crimson Hotel Filinvest City exudes true elegance that one will not easily forget. It creates an atmosphere of tranquility in the midst of the bustling metropolis. From their lobby, where one is immediately greeted with a vast display of colors and architecture, it was no wonder how I got hooked on taking photos from the very start. We had our afternoon cup of coffee or tea thereof, and started catching up with some pastries too.

Later on, we settled down in our respective rooms and it was a joy to see how spacious and lovely it was with the view of Filinvest City at our extensive window, perfect to wait for the sun to set. Our room was complete with amenities and comfort from television, phone, refrigerator, hair blower, bathrobe, slippers, and the like.

Their Café Eight, just nearby the lobby, is where our dinner and breakfast buffet was served is one of the finest buffets I have tasted complete with different cuisines that will surely satisfy your eyes and stomach. Their café does not only accept hotel guests but caters the walk-ins as well.

Ready to swim but first...

Their beautiful pool area, does not only serve as a great place to have a dip but also a place to unwind in the late afternoon ‘til late evening for a nightcap. It was where our bubbly discussions were held at. Good thing, it is located at the eighth floor, where we enjoy the view of the sky, pool, and breezy air, apart from our drinks.

What sets this apart from the other staycation I have been in Manila is that they cater personal touches and customization of one’s preference. When we came back to our rooms after a night of good conversation and laughter, our room and things were neatly arranged, lights dimmed, and a chocolate bar saying “Sweet Dreams” was a delight to see. Such experience would make me want to recommend to yuppies like me looking for a place to unwind and chill over the weekend or so in the metro.
