The District Boracay’s restaurant, Star Lounge, is where breakfast or brunch buffet, and dinner is served for their hotel guests. The area maybe just small-scale but is a distinctly impressive given how complete and exquisite the taste and offerings they have.
Here are some of my favorites during at brunch buffet:
Our dinner was served with the newest additions in their menu.
Star Lounge Restaurant
Yakitori BBQ Chicken
Aussie Shrimp on the Barbie
BBQ Burger
-caramelized onions, pcikles, cole slaw and potato salad
Asian Ginger Beef Skewers
Weekend BBQ
BBQ Pork Ribs with potato salad and buttered corn
Options of:
Haiwaan BBQ Chicken
-with cajun rice and cole slaw
BBQ Rootbeer Chicken Leg
-with potato salad and buttered corn
Skewers
BBQ Jerk Chicken Legs
Chillicondog
-with djon mustard, pickles, baked fries, chillicon and cheese
My favorites among the new selections are Chillicondog, Aussie Shrimp on the Barbie, and theri BBQ Burger. I think I overate because it just so irresistible to try them all.
And that’s not all; they also have a barbeque/grilled during the evening which is another mouthwatering story. This part of the evening can be enjoyed as dinner itself, given how ample their servings are. And can be enjoyed both outdoors (by the beach) and indoors (inside the Star Lounge restaurant). I ordered the salmon and did not regret it because the thought of salmon is really appetizing but the one served was one bar higher that I could almost imagine that taste as I am writing this right now. Ahhhh. I miss that night of grill.
Here’s what my friends tried during the grill/barbeque portion of the night.
Grilled Prawns
Grilled Marlin
Grilled Pork Belly
Grilled Norweigan Salmon Fillet
After dinner was another exciting part -- to try their first-class Meduse Sisha. It is a one-of-a-kind sisha experience only found at The District Boracay. The Meduse design is inspired by the elegant organic lines which are ubiquitous throughout underwater sea life. Various flavors of fresh fruits are available at their restaurant such as Citrus Gang which we tried.
All in all, apart from the luxurious comfort the resort offers, the stay we had at The District Boracay was complete and superb because we were all raving how delectable and heavenly each dishes served to us.
