Black and White Challenge

 
I was nominated by some travel and photography enthusiasts’ friends on Facebook to join the Black and White Challenge (#bnwchallenge). The aim is to post monochrome photos on your wall for five days and nominate others that you think would have fun to do the same. So I plugged my good old hard drive and started browsing through the sea of photographs…

First Day

Second Day

Child of the sea. At sundown, I was approached by this little one with a bright and wide-eye gaze that I just couldn’t resist. Bolinao, Pangasinan, Philippines.

Third Day

Wood on fire. Chanced upon a boy preparing to cook rice in a bamboo tube.

Jump. La Libertad, Negros Oriental

Fifth Day

The Pull. On the fifth day, I decided to go back to Sabtang and I braved crossing it even with the word of caution from the locals due to the intermittent heavy rainfall, strong wind, and big waves. Grateful to these people for their expertise to work on such conditions leading to a safe voyage. Sabtang Island, Batanes, Philippines
