Hacienda Isabela's pool area

In Cavite, passing a little off Tagaytay, is a haven called Hacienda Isabela. When we arrived there, I feel like I was transported back in time because of the architecture of the cottages, details at the place and their displays that gives this rustic effect. I feel like I am at a hacienda back in the Spanish era in the Philippines! Plus the lush green surroundings make it a perfect place to chill and relax away from the Metro.

The place is owned by local artist and singer, Kuh Ledesma, who also happens to have built and designed the whole place. It was prior to be a vacation home when there are gatherings and events in their family. And when it has come to a point that the place has more cottages. They have thought of opening up the place to the public which is now one of the perfect locations for wedding reception or engagement shoot. Some local movies and soap operas has also chosen it as one of their locations to shoot.

We were fetched by one of the place's van and we were welcomed by their manager, followed by a tour around the place where we will be staying for the weekend. I was assigned to one of the 2 bedroom rooms and it was a delight because it is classy and elegant yet maintaining the rustic taste all throughout the area, from the lobby, restaurant, other cottages, billiards and the pool side area. When times that we have nothing else to do with the group, I do stay at one of the places where they have these huge couches and connect with their wifi. I love staying at those couches!

We had three sumptuous meals at their restaurant (dinner, breakfast and lunch) and as you can see from my photos, they are all delectable. I would give a hats off with our dinner and lunch, from their appetizer, to the main course and dessert, because my control not to overeat was definitely ruined! Hehe

Overall, I would recommend Hacienda Isabela when you want to go solo and wants to read/write at a peaceful place. Or if you want a vacay with your close barkada or family from the Metro, they have everything you will need.

Hacienda Isabela is located at Carasuchi, Indang 4122, Cavite. If you are driving, you can take these directions:

From Tagaytay Rotonda to Soto Grande Subdivision, it is approximately 7 kilometers, or an 8 to 10-minute-drive. From Soto Grande to Hacienda Isabella, it is approximately 8 kilometers of barangay road, or a 15-minute-drive.
