After a day of island hopping in San Jose, we checked out for the bus terminals going to Sablayan. Since I have a history of motion sickness mostly triggered when riding an air conditioned bus, we decided to take the ordinary one though it doesn't look like it would work at first glance. No offense, but it was really old. For a fare of around Php 120.00, we reached Sablayan in 3-4 hours. From the  crossing of Sablayan bus stop, you can walk to the port or ride a cab (Php 10 for per person).

We paid Php 250.00, good for two people, when we hired a boat to Pandan Island and hired them to fetch us the day after. We arrived at the island around 3 in the afternoon and savored another island in Occidental Mindoro. Check out for more about Pandan Island soon.

In the island we availed the budget room for Php 750.00 and a required buffet meal (at least one per day) priced at Php 450 per person.

Note: If you are from Puerto Galera/Manila, there are buses which has a route from Cubao, Metro Manila to San Jose, Occidental Mindoro which passes Sablayan municipality too.
