Burot Beach, Calatagan, Batangas is a perfect get away for people wanting to have the taste of summer.
With just a 3 hour bus ride from Pasay City Terminal (near McDonalds at the MRT station) and a 20 minutes tricycle from Calatagan proper to the beach itself, you will never regret it especially to a beautiful beach like this. The light blue to blue sea water that definitely would take your breath away is a must see! And for only 860 pesos, this one of a kind get away is really bang for the buck!

Perfect for a little paradise like this is an overnight camping stay. There is no electricity and water, so you may need to pack your flashlights and buy water from the Calatagan Public Market. The place has recently been bought by SM group of companies and the place maybe developed in the coming months. So take a trip this summer and see the place before the planned changes will start!

Note: As campers/visitors/beach bummers/locals, we must bear in mind that in a beautiful place like this and all others that our country has been gifted must be taken care of by US. Hence, we must always bear in our minds that littering around the area doesn't make any sense if we want to maintain the beauty of the place.
Tip: Go to the terminal as early as possible (before 6 am) for there are loads of passengers especially during weekends. Otherwise, you may need to take two buses and it would be a little hassle than the one bus ride to Calatagan. :)

We had a tent when we were there, it was undergoing renovation since kaka own palang ng SM at dedevelop pa lang. :)

I think so, wala nga lang accommodation sa area so you need to set up a tent if you're staying overnight.
