Pampanga | Lewis Grand Hotel

Can you believe it is already prelude to summer but I still got no plans on that highlight of the year that most Filipinos anticipate? Well I am utterly clueless and since work is quite busy, I opted to have quick getaways here and there near the National Capital Region.

Ylla Shoes at the lobby of Lewis Grand Hotel

Just an hour away from Metro Manila, sans traffic, is a place popular to most for food trip, hot air balloon festival, lantern festival, among others. Yes, Pampanga it is. But as much as I wanted to visit their famous landmarks and such, I’ve got limited time and have only the weekend to tour. So my friends from Manila planned to eat our hearts out that weekend at Moderno Food Park’s Fiammata and enjoy Lewis Grand Hotel’s comfort and food!

Lewis Grand Hotel exudes luxury oasis at an affordable price in Angeles City, where entertainment meets culture. You’ll be greeted by their white overall interior and design with the wooden highlights like their lobby’s grand staircase that speaks class and elegance.

Our room was an Executive Suite overlooking the pool area and the view of Mount Arayat from the east while it has Mount Pinatubo’s view from the east. We’ve got a grand king size bed spacious enough to have our own dining set and couch where one can entertain guests of their own. Another quite interesting feature it has is how the bathtub can have the view of the room by simple sliding down the windows together to the other side.

Other room available apart from Executive Suite are Grand Deluxe Suite, Hollywood Deluxe Suite, Special King, Deluxe Suite, Corner Deluxe, Executive Jacuzzi Suite, and Double Occupancy Suite. If you wish to be near the water, then their PoolSide Jacuzzi Suite or Bachelor Suite, not near the pool but it has its own outdoor Jacuzzi, is quite right for you. For weddings and ultimately special occasions, their Presidential Suite is perfect for such given the intricate details, design and the view it has to offer.

I truly loved how spoiled I felt during that weekend which took me away from the stressful real life. Additionally, they’ve got breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet where you can pig out called The Avenue Bar & Restaurant. Their breakfast and lunch buffet is located near the near the pool and bar but by dinner, it is situated right at the pool side that gives this relaxing dining experience while enjoying the music from the band performing right across the pool area. All about Lewis in-house restaurant offerings that we have tried here

For gym lovers, they've got their own gym near the pool area, too. I also especially loved exploring the different depths of their lovely pool area where we even managed to have a quick photo session.

Apart from weekend getaways, they are also popular for weddings, debuts, events, and other special gatherings having an Events Pavilion near the poolside which has a capacity of 300 people. For smaller events and/or meetings, they have Estrellita Ballroom, Conference Room, and Boardroom. No wonder it is one of the most booked in the city and when we visited, there were several photo-shoots happening inside the vicinity.

Such a fun-filled weekend with the perfect buddies to spend it with which made the experience complete. Thanking AileenChino, Marrien and all the people who helped us that weekend.

Lewis Grand Hotel is strategically located adjacent to the world renowned entertainment district of Angeles City, just around 30 minutes from 1) one of the country’s international airports, Diosdado Macapagal (Clark) International Airport and 2) beaches of Subic via National Expressway. Its exact address is at Don Juico Avenue Malabanias, Angeles City, Pampanga. For more inquiries and details, visit their website or email reservations@lewisgrand.com.
