It took me quite some time to update and continue some things.  Last year of the same month I went to Zamboanga and visited lots of places but sadly I was not able to share all of it. Until I got tired of me being tired all the time and  started drafting things that interests me. One of my faves are giving some quick preview like snapshots.

As promised last year (Haha), here's the second part for the Snapshots from Zamboanga: The Asia's Latin City (Part 1).  Previously, the post ended at number 8, so I'll start with 9. :)

9)  Mano-mano Restaurant. My friend, Gino, is celebrating his birthday so we feasted here with delicious Filipino cuisines. Indeed, a must-try. :)

10) Plaza Pershing and Rizal Statue. Named after General John J. Pershing,
who was military commander/governor of the Moro Province from 1909 to 1914. Gen. "Black Jack" Pershing became the Supreme Commander of the American Expeditionary Force in Europe during World War I when the US entered the war in 1917. Right in front of the plaza, the notable Rizal Statue can be seen.

11) Zamboanga's City Hall. Near to number 10 is the City Hall of Zamboanga which was erected in 1907.

12) Tsokolate. Cute and artsy bake shop/cafe. Perfect to chill and hang out on a hot afternoon, which is what we did.

13) Flavorites. I cannot say that the food was superb because honestly speaking it is more like of just another burger chain, but these paintings at Flavorites definitely caught my eyes.

14) En route plane view. This one is amazing. My first time to fly in the Mindanao part and seeing the vastness of the land makes me oh-so-high.

15) Vertigo. Chilling on our last night here. One of the local bars in town. Good company, good conversations with good friends is one great night.

Big thanks to Almin and Chuck for showing us around their city. :)

Is this the end of my snapshots series? Definitely not, keep posted for the third one: Snapshots from Zamboanga: The Asia's Latin City (Part 3). :)
