The Aplaya Restaurant where breakfast buffets are offered also caters their unique tradition known as “Barrio Fiesta,” a cultural and dining extravaganza. The festive experience includes feasting on some Boholano specialties like “Lechon Kawali” while enjoying some popular Philippine cultural dance show like “Tinikling.” This dinner buffet special is held on Saturdays from 6 to 10 pm. Walk ins for this buffet is priced at Php 900 per person.

Our first dining was the Barrio Fiesta experience and later the breakfast buffet. I was looking forward for lunch because they would offer their very own Ube Kinampay which is only in Bohol. The rest were Lechon Kawali Rice in a bamboo, Pinakbet, Fish Tinola and Blueberry Cheesecake. It was a different yet similar take on dinner having Lechon Kawali, Chiken Hinalang, Lumpia and Carrot Cake & Panna Cotta.
