White wine with the cheese and cold cuts

They say that you search your whole life to find that perfect wine. Well, then the search is on. And perfectly so when I visited Cebu last summer because I happen to be at Planet Grapes Cebu which offers an easygoing and wine-friendly ambiance where the uninitiated can begin their journey to discover the world of wine.

Planet Grapes Cebu

Some red wine on a fine night

Pair your wine with some PG Super Sisig

Their tag line, “Wine without the drama,” speaks that they wanted to connote for wines to be associated not just to the traditionally pairings such as cheese and cured meats, but also encourages the harmonious combination with that of the comfortable food and taste that we, Filipinos, love.

Wine paired with Chorizo de Cebu, Chicken Isaw, and Breadsticks

How about some Mee Goreng
(sweet and spicy noodles sauteed with shrimp) with wine?

Delightful Creme Brulee Sampler

Here at Planet Grapes you can discover wine, one grape at a time, through their state-of-the-art Italian enomatic machine -- a wine dispenser that can serve a sip, half, or full glass sizes of the wine of your liking-- purchased through their Planet Grapes card. Such machine is available on both Manila and Cebu branches.
