Nueva Ecija | Peñaranda River

Klook.com

Well what can I say? Its fresh green waters surrounds the Minalungao National Park most. They say it is usually not clear when it has rained which is why I was kinda sad because it rained on the morning before going there so the water wasn't actually very clear and vibrant. Still, the view of the park will not disappoint to nature-lovers because it offers rock formations which made me remember about El Nido.

It is delighting to know that this the area has become a protected mining reserve where gold panning has long been restricted to protect the area's natural state. Because a beautiful place like this is truly bound to be taken care of and marveled at.

HOW TO GET THERE/TIPS

Ride a Five Star bus bound to Gapan from either Pasay or Cubao (Php 150) that will take you there at around 2-3 hours. From Gapan to Minalungao National Park, rent a tricycle for Php 500 round trip. Travel time will be around an hour or so. The park has a registration fee of Php 20 per person and another Php 20 for the entrance of any vehicle too. For exploring the aprk, hire a local who can take you to either: Minalungao's Cross, Minalungao's Cave, traversing the Peñaranda River or trekking to the furthermost side of the river.

Do they offer package activities already in this national park? The green waters makes it more charming and unique...

That I'm not sure though. But a lot of people are going there DIY. :D
