The magnitude 7.2 earthquake which rocked Region VII or Central Visayas Region today, Oct 15 2013, has brought at least 155 casualties and damaged historical sites in Cebu and Bohol. The quake was felt across neighboring areas in Visayas and some parts of Mindanao, like Zamboanga and Davao.

Top one on my list of dream destinations in my beloved country is El Nido, Palawan. When I was in high school, I was captivated when I saw a picture of the place from a post card. And it is quite obvious in my itinerary that I have spent 90% of my time in El Nido for my first Palawan trip.
