Another solo trip for me that was really fulfilling since I was quite lost in some aspects of my life back last August. I really needed the break and time for myself, even if I was a little afraid being alone in the room when night comes. And gratefully, the trip helped me think things over some I cannot have time to do so due to the busy city life in the metro.
On the side note, it was very saddening that 2 months after visiting the beautiful and peaceful Bantayan Island, it was one of the cities devastated by the strongest typhoon there was - Typhoon Haiyan, locally known as Typhoon Yolanda. Such beauty I hope to see again when the island, and other islands affected, are eventually healed.
