Glimpse of Dumaguete

Silliman University Founder's Day

Just had my 2nd to the longest vacation in Dumaguete last week and although it lasted for a week I wasn't able to fulfill my promise which is to go out of town (like beach or falls) and take pictures of my beloved alma mater, Silliman University. All I had was a glimpse of what is in Dumaguete. Starting with fireworks on the founder's day of Silliman University which coincidentally is my birthday, the greenery in Silliman and the night view at Rizal Boulevard.

Elal,

Your photo-taking skills keeps getting better. I really like your way of presenting your photos by sorta tellin a story at the same time! Cheers! Great job :)

This made me miss Dumag. Was there recently, though not during the Silliman foundation day and death of Natl Artist Edith Tiempo. Would've been a perfect day to visit Silliman U. I absolutely love walking around the campus and the boulevard. And eating kabog! :)

Love your romantic Rizal Blvd photo.

The death of the Natl Artist Mam Edith is really saddening. Her remains was at the SU Church during the Founders Week.

I miss Dumaguete too!:) Esp to the simple lifestyle, friends and family.

Thanks for dropping by AJ!
